Our Mission

To be a safe place in Northern Berkshire County where people ages 13-19 are heard, encouraged, and empowered.

At ROOTS, our participants’ voice is critical to our program offerings. All of our programs are designed in partnership with the young people who visit ROOTS.

Diversity Statement

At ROOTS, an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible space is one where all board members, employees, volunteers, and young people, whatever their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, economic status, identity, education, or disability, feels valued and respected. We are committed to a nondiscriminatory approach and provide equal opportunity for employment and advancement of our programs and activities. We respect and value diverse life experiences and heritages, and ensure that all voices are heard and valued.
