Ways to Support

At ROOTS Teen Center, we believe in empowering local youth to thrive in a safe and supportive environment. By contributing to our monthly crowdsourcing campaign, you’ll directly impact the lives of teens in our community by ensuring they have a space they can rely on, that belongs to them, where they can express themselves, learn new skills, and build meaningful relationships that foster growth. This year alone we have supported close to 100 individuals; many of whom visit the center multiple times per month.

Reaching our goal of $5,000 in monthly donations will unlock a 3 year donation of $30,000  from an anonymous donor. This funding will not only support the long-term sustainability of ROOTS, your support will be invested in one of our biggest assets, our staff.  Skilled individuals who are deeply committed to shaping the future of our youth, ultimately helping to build a stronger, more resilient community. They provide more than just supervision – they create a safe space, nurturing environment where teens can grow, learn, and feel empowered. They build strong, trusting relationships, offering guidance during critical years in these young people’s lives. They are role models, as well as advocates. Without passionate, dedicated staff, we wouldn't be able to offer the personalized attention and care that makes our space unique.

Here is what your donation supports:

- Registration for 2 participants in a skills-based workshop, such as CPR certification
- Food for 2 participants in an evening event, such as an Open Mic Night

- Food for 4 participants in an evening event, such as an Open Mic Night

- Gardening tools and supplies to maintain our outdoor space

- Stipend payment for a workshop facilitator
- Purchase of supplies and materials for workshops
- Cleaning materials for maintenance of our indoor space (hand sanitizer, wipes, paper products)

- Stipend payment for 2 workshop facilitators

- Payment for heat for two months of ROOTS space
- Purchase of 6 bikes for Build-A-Bike program
- Payment for 1 program, including workshop facilitator stipend and materials needed
